Membership Specifics
There are four main elements to the Membership:
- Training materials
- Live events (including Q&A and Masterclass sessions)
- Tools and code libraries
- Community and support
Training materials
The training materials are designed to build practical Excel capability over time, and includes courses, how-to guides and replays of previously live sessions. These are primarily led by Mark Proctor with additional content delivered by guest experts.
All training is provided as on‑demand, self‑paced training, allowing members to progress at a time and pace that suits them. Content typically includes video lessons, examples, and supporting resources, depending on the subject matter.
Access to courses is available only while membership remains active.
All course content is provided in English. Translations are not available.
While members are encouraged to work through the material fully, completion is not mandatory, and progress is not formally assessed or certificated unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Live events
Live Q&A and Masterclass sessions will be led by members of the Excel Off The Grid team and invited guest experts.
There will be approximately 20 live sessions per year, held on Microsoft Teams.
- The Q&A sessions will not be recorded.
- Masterclass sessions will be recorded and made available within the training platform.
- Other live sessions will vary based on the requirements of the speakers.
Participation in recorded live sessions constitutes consent to the recording, storage, and distribution of those sessions within the Membership.
Tools and code libraries
Membership includes access to a selection of tools and code libraries.
The tools are developed and maintained by us and are to support learning and efficiency but are not intended to replace professional judgement or internal controls.
The tools are provided on an “as‑is” basis. While reasonable care is taken in their creation and maintenance, no guarantee is given that the tools will be free from errors, compatible with all versions of Excel, or suitable for every use case. Members are responsible for testing tools before relying on them in business or professional contexts.
From time to time, tools may be updated, replaced, or removed. No guarantee is given as to the continued availability of any specific tool.
Members who have downloaded a tool or library may continue to use them indefinitely. An on-going membership is not required for continued use. However, support and upgrades, where provided, will be limited to those with active memberships.
Members must not resell, redistribute, or share tools outside of the membership unless explicitly permitted in writing.
Community and support
Membership includes access to a member community and a limited level of support intended to complement the training materials and learning experience.
The community provides a space for members working with Excel and related tools to share experiences and discuss common challenges. Participation is optional and self‑directed, and no guarantee is given as to the level of activity, responsiveness, or availability of the community at any given time.
Members may participate by posting updates or responding to questions; however, no guarantee is given of direct responses, response times, or ongoing one‑to‑one engagement.
Members are responsible for ensuring information shared does not include confidential, sensitive, or proprietary data. We accept no responsibility for the accuracy, suitability, or consequences of information shared by other members.
Support is provided on a best‑efforts basis, with no guarantee of response times, outcomes, or availability outside normal working hours. Reasonable assistance may be provided for technical questions related to Excel and related technologies; however, support does not include personalised coaching, bespoke troubleshooting, or custom solutions unless explicitly stated.
Community and support channels may be amended, restricted, replaced, or withdrawn at any time. Members are encouraged to keep their own copies of any information they choose to rely upon.
