In this video, we look at the differences between ranges and arrays.
Ranges are a group of cells which exist on the face of Excel’s grid. Each cell has a co-ordinates to show where it exists within the grid.
Arrays are a groups of values; they do not need to exist on the grid.
Arrays can hold any values including text, numbers, pictures, errors and functions.
Ranges are converted to arrays through calculation.
Array are converted to ranges by returning values to the grid.
